Once a client shows an interest in commissioning, Sam will develop initial drawings through discussion and potential site visits. Every design is tailormade in cooperation with the client, depending on each individuals extent of participation.A deposit becomes due after initial sketches have been approved, redeemable against the final commission price. This leads the way to to-scale drawings being produced. Once final details have been agreed - design tweaks, timbers, veneers, other materials - a contract is drawn up and the commission is scheduled into the workshops timetable. Clients are also more than welcome to visit the workshops to see their piece transform form 2-D to 3-D and to discuss any potential evolution during the course of their commission.
When the commission is finished and in situ, a 'provenence' for the piece is supplied, which can be kept with that piece for its life.
